Debate Topic: is it wrong to swear?

While I will post a full article on the topic over the weekend, I would like to start another debate hopefully one as fruitful as our immigration. So I propose an ethnic question very related to highschoolers. Is it wrong to swear? Cuss curse or utter the profanity?

Does that allow such words cite reasons such as free speech, intend creates meaning, taboo creates the problem, dramatic purpose is justified.

Does that oppose swearing say the a bad mouth creates bad character, the bible forbids it, the desire to say such words are caused by trivial desire for rebellion.

I'm interested in what y'all think

  1. Personally, i believe it is wrong to swear, that swear, cuss, curse words and profanity in general is a sin and should not be tolerated! It ruins and corrupts the minds of younger children who are around those who curse often. Ask yourself, do you really want your children, or even other people's children, to grow up in these environments? Personally, i know kids who are beginning to cuss at the age of 10, 9, and even 8 year olds. IS THIS THE WORLD YOU WANT TO LIVE IN? How do you justify little kids, even toddlers if it gets that bad, spatting profanity in every other sentence. They are swear words for a reason, if we continue to use them at this growing rate, what will be the point? will they not just turn into ordinary vulgar words, like many other we already know and use commonly?
